I am Peace Daniel, the proud founder and President of GEAUX Foundation. Our journey began in 2021, when I found myself deep in prayer, contemplating how I could make a meaningful difference in the lives of young girls. It was during that moment of reflection that a divine inspiration struck me, igniting a new path that would forever change my life.
The essence of our mission at GEAUX Foundation is to empower teenage girls who have been forced to abandon their education due to the crushing weight of poverty. We firmly believe in equipping these young minds with both practical skills and the unwavering love of Jesus Christ.
Since my own teenage years, I have been acutely aware of the pressing need to rescue these girls from the clutches of poverty and offer them a glimmer of hope for a better future. Born and raised in Uganda, a small country in East Africa, I spent my childhood in the bustling capital city of Kampala. However, it was during school breaks when my mother would send me to stay with my grandmother in the village that I witnessed firsthand the harsh reality faced by many young girls.
As we grew up, the childhood playmates I once cherished found themselves caught in the grips of early marriages, bearing children at such tender ages. Witnessing this heartbreaking cycle deeply affected me, and I knew in my heart that I had to take action. It became my lifelong mission to provide these girls with an opportunity to pursue their dreams and to instill in them the profound love of Christ, reminding them of their inherent worth.
At GEAUX Foundation, we strive to break the chains of poverty that rob these young girls of their education and future prospects. Our focus is on imparting practical skills that will empower them to thrive in their communities and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. By bridging the gap between knowledge and opportunity, we aspire to bring lasting change to the deep villages of Uganda, where poverty often compels girls into unwanted polygamist marriages, merely as a means of survival.
